Well, this is adorable.^^ Everything is well placed and clear sounding. It can be challenge to tame those higher pitches - but you seem to pull it off with ease here! Something tells me the next moment I see my cats, this tune is going to be looping in my head. It's quite catchy. I think it would work nice for anything cute in a video game. I noticed you also mess around with dubstep.. have you thought of a remix, maybe titled 'catnip'? =^.^= In any case, well done!

Ever-changing indeed! I love that you can span emotions using epic orchestra as you please, and then just hop over to gritty cyberpunk fun!

Can't wait to hear more!! :D

zybor responds:

Thank you for your review, backwardecho!

This is nice! :) I really like the piano melody, it sounds very clean along with the cool beats. The instrument at 1:13ish does seem to 'grab the mic' just a bit, not sure if it's too much delay or reverb effect or maybe because I'm wearing headphones listening to this. :) But there's a lot of great stuff going on here! Keep it up and thanks for sharing!^^

Akaruhime responds:

hmm...lol i didnt even notice the part on 1:13 until ya mentioned it i can tweak it a bit ty m8!

Well you astound me, WaterBear, to be able to compose something so bright and halcyon amidst such conditions.

Oddly, my dad has been living out of his Civic for the past year. But even before he stopped taking his medication for a mental illness which has stolen his life, he's always been the kind of man to help everyone around him while neglecting himself. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm betting you're awful at asking for help from others; I'm hoping there's a friend nearby who realizes this and takes hold of your hand, at least to get you proper food and shelter for a bit. <3

zybor responds:

Thank you very much for your review! :)

I hope your father will get better with his health and condition soon. My car is also a Civic. And you are right, I am shy from asking for help even when I was in the worst problem.

Thank you so much for your helpful thoughts! I wish the best luck to you and your dad. I really hope he get good soon. Take care.

You're wonderful, mister.^^ Lovely song as always.. I am favoriting it to my side of NG to help promote and checking out the gofundme page. I hope things work out for your friend!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you!
And thanks for favoriting it too :)
I hope things will work out for her too! We'll just have to wait and see.

Wha... how am I supposed to even comment on this? I'm gonna have to write a poem or Vulcan mind meld to properly convey a response to your song. How dare you. Encore!!! :)

zybor responds:

thank you for the review!

Awesome!^^ Great build of intensity and sounds super polished! Everything can be heard clearly, no instrument is hiding behind another, which can be hard to achieve (at least for me!) Somehow I totally forgot there was a bonus part; what a nice surprise and I'm so glad I hadn't submitted this comment just yet hehe. Very lovely! The choir, piano and strings are absolutely gorgeous!! Hope to hear more in future! :)

Enzer0 responds:

Thanks for your review. Really glad you enjoyed it. This year i'm trying to clean my sound, so hearing you say it's clear is really good news to me! Thank you for the feedback.

I read through your comments/lyrics here.. sending kind feelings your way, thank you for sharing this very raw and beautiful song - I'm going to have to embarrass you and your 'WIP' further and post it as a favorite on my side. <3

Also, I thought this was interesting: "Emotional tears.. have been found to contain protein-based hormones including the neurotransmitter leucine enkephalin, a natural painkiller that is released when the body is under stress."

I'll keep an eye out if you do decide to work further with this, but as it is now, you have a great and captivating song!

ADR3-N responds:

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I appreciate it more than I can say. Dad passed a week after I graduated college, almost a year ago now. I'm just now getting to where I can talk about it without crying, but I'm not quite over it yet, and I still dream about him nightly. I'll shoot you a message if and when I polish this song up.

Nice atmosphere! (I was curious whether you were going to use any samples of birds in this track, since my cat was sitting next me while I listened o.O =^.^=) I like that you used actual hands on equipment to produce this; though the song is a bit simpler than what some other artists offer here, it seems a fare share of us tend to rely heavily on computer and mouse and I imagine there'd probably be some head scratching involved if we had to recreate a song using more of the real deal (if you haven't guessed, I'm totally including myself in that list lol)

Thanks for sharing! :)

DavidCraddock responds:

Thanks backwardecho for the compliment. I try to make just about everything via hardware, often keeping edits to a minimum afterwards. They might not sound as polished but these days I think it is quite easy to 'overproduce' something and take out most of the soul.. I think there is value in the original sound of the synth coming through, and that is what I aim for. Also.. playing with synths is fun :)

Very nice!! Has a sleek sci-fi feel to it and the quality is tight. Could definitely see this as background material for a related game/movie. I listened to some of your other work also and I'm hoping NG takes more proper notice of you because your songs are pretty cool, mister =]

Mellowsonic responds:

thank you :)
