Wow! This is certainly the best menu track I’ve ever heard! :O It appears you two have been able to mesh your styles brilliantly from the get go! Right now, it’s storming out here in the ‘sunny’ state, so I took advantage of the moment and watched the rainfall while listening. :) I love the beautiful and dynamic variations throughout this piece, no doubt you both surely put a lot of work into it! Thank you for sending me the link to this!^^

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Oh wow, thanks for the huge compliment :O
Yeah, I think the secret is that we're both both ready enough to give up on some of our own ideas for the sake of a great conjoined effort. And we can both also decide not go give up ideas if we trust in them xD
I think that's a great key to making the best out of both people's abilities.

There was a thunderstorm here too today! And rain, ofc ^ ^
I actually recorded some of it, and might use it in the future :D
Thank you for clicking on the link, and for reviewing too <333

:'D I feel sorry for whoever is judging this. But I guess since EtherealWinds contributed part of himself to this song, and your team did likewise with his, everybody wins.^^ This is super gorgeous work, boys! Your talents blend very well together. I think this is actually the first time I've heard a collab from you and SnowTeddy and it's definitely a treat to hear - no matter how the competition goes, really hoping you get to work on more stuff in the future together and share it with us all! :3

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you very much, Lindsey!

And yes. Everybody winning is exactly what we were going for ^___^
We're super glad that you like our joined work :3

We've actually collaborated a fair amount in the past! I don't mean to force a track upon you, but if you're interested you can check out or first official collab:

We certainly are planning on working together in the future more, no matter how things go :D
Thanks again for the lovely words!

With two extraordinary musicians going head to head, it's a toss up on who to cheer for! Also, the silly side of me's wondering what this would sound like at 200+ bpm :)

SoundChris responds:

Thank you very much backwardecho :) Peter and i had a lot of fun in this round. We probably talked and fooled around more than we actualy composed and produced :D Glad you enjoyed our trailer!

True story - this song made me verklempt. (learned that word watching SNL) I actually just listened to your track below this one 'Anytown, RPG' and am back, revived from that to review here. :') No question this is very captivating and pulls a bit mercilessly at the heart. Stunning, resplendent work! (and quite talented art to be inspired from!) To comment partly for the other song mentioned too, I'm impressed by your ability to richly succeed at evoking different styles/moods. Well done!^^

ChronoNomad responds:

Ah! How did I miss responding to this? *sigh* Probably because I've been so busy with the 2017 NGADM and we ended up losing our electricity and Internet due to some crazy weather over the past week. Without further ado...

Thank you for dropping off such a nice review, backwardecho! Verklempt is a good word, and the fact that this plucked at your heartstrings in such a way is quite the triumph. And resplendent! My, my...these words feel too big for my humble talents, but I truly appreciate the feedback.

This and 'Anytown RPG' could hardly be more different! That said, to hear that each track is able to summon up its individual moods and feelings effectively makes all the time and effort put into them worthwhile. Thank you again!

This song would be consoling to hear at the end of it all, rather than the shrieking violins that would surely be playing in my head were I drowning. (side thought, this made me recall a French film I watched years ago, that briefly mentioned how typically the last detected image found in the human eye is of the ceiling) I really like this song. :) It's thoughtful and relaxing. Been listening to a few of your tracks so far and enjoying them.^^

johnfn responds:

thanks! glad you found something you like :D

So Instead of NGADM, YHTCWYMTC (you have to compose what you're moved to compose). I had fun listening to this track. ^_^ Thanks for sharing and hope you're well! <3

zybor responds:

thank you backwardecho!

although it's usually take double the works to do in NGADM collab, it's also easier sometime because we can alternate between partner's time and work on the same track anytime, together or separately. i'm so glad i'm on collab with LSD because i won't be able to finish the track today. my sister's husband asked me to help him clear out a wasp nest in their backyard and i spent all morning doing this shit, even got stung lol. now i wish we should've called professional to do it.

thank you again, and take care :)

Another uniquely refreshing and intelligently adorable one, if I do say so. ^_^ And perfect dialogue for a tank!

Quarl responds:

Thanks Bwe! <3

It’s impossible to listen to your music with a straight face! :3 What you’re able to do with pianos never ceases to astound me. To be honest, I just realized that I love your improvs most of all your wonderful work.^^ However, I did not imagine an abandoned world while listening to this (Imagined peaceful woodland creatures instead, because I’m terribly cheesy like that :P)

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

It's fine for you to imagine whatever you want, that's part of the reason why music is so great! Maybe it's a peaceful woodland abandones by all but nature and animals ;)

I'm glad you like my improvs, as they are something I've been working on improving especially these past two years or so. Thank you for all the support! I hope you're doing well :3

I love hearing your tracks, but I feel this is a level above your previous work! You always seem to be able to bring such a colossal impact with your string work and the part where you change it up was a sweet surprise! Smooth transition throughout. Very impressive! :O ^.^

This song is beyond beautiful! I love hearing that drum of yours in your music, and your voice itself is such a stunning instrument! :O It takes courage to compose outside the box, and I'm glad you dared to do so. :)
